Union Council-22.23 Inaugural

Union council and Fine Arts Associations were inaugurated on 20th December 2022 in M.Com auditorium. Dr. Anush Bekal, B.E, M.S, PhD, Head of the Department of ECE, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, was the Chief Guest of the programme. He educated the newly elected members of the council with the key responsibilities and aims of the student council in development of an institution. He said ‘the student council should impart directives and actions on the institute’s vision – mission in a holistic approach and that’s how we replenish the real outcome based education’. He handed over the key points to the president of the council.

Principal of BEC Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Bhat gave the presidential speech and administered the oath of office to the Union members. Fine arts in-charge Mrs. Srividya B introduced the union council members to the chief guest and the gathering. IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. Prasanna Kumar MG, Fine arts in-charge Mrs. Sathvika Shetty were present on the dies. Union president Mr. Ayush Naik welcomed the guest and the gathering, Ms. Nireeksha proposed vote of thanks. Ms. Shreya Nayak compered the program.
