Teachers’ Day Celebration at Besant Evening College

Mangaluru, September 12: Besant Evening College celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm. Mrs. Lalitha G. Mallya, Correspondent of the College, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and highlighted the significant role of teachers in shaping students’ personalities and contributing to nation-building.

The programme was presided over by Principal Dr. Parashurama G. Malage, who emphasized the importance of teachers in identifying students’ talents and nurturing confidence, values, and responsibility.

Prof. Gopal Reddy Ritti, Head of the Department of Commerce, Dr. Prasanna Kumar M. G., and other faculty members were present. Vaishnavi Shetty delivered the welcome address, Manya Rai compered the programme, and Manvitha proposed the vote of thanks.
