They are mostsignificant in these days when barriers are being created in the name of caste,religion, and language, said Prof. Mahaveer Jain, Besant Evening CollegePolitical Science Department head. He was speaking at theSadbhavana Diwas observed by the NSS and Students’ Council of Besant EveningCollege. Stating that the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister RajivGandhi is observed as SadbhavanaDiwas, he said that every citizen of the nationmust inculcate the value of goodwill or ‘Sadbhavana’. NSS coordinator Prof.B. Ganapathi Bhat preached the oath to students. Student Council adviser Prof.GopalRaddi Ritti was present.
