AGuest Lecture on the topic “India’s Current Economic Scenario” by Dr B.MRamakrishna, Principal of the University Evening College and President of theMangalore University Economics Association was organised for the UG and PGstudents of our College on 11th January 2020 in M.Com auditorium. Inhis lecture he highlightedon theeconomic slowdown- causes and its impact on common man. On the occasion a bookentitled “Money and Public Finance”, authored by Dr. Lakshminarayana Bhat A, Principalof Besant Evening College, for I B.Com II Semester under (CBCS) was released. TheCorrespondent of the college, Mr. Sathish Kumar Bhat presided over thefunction. The author of the book, the presidents of Alumni Association andStudent Union Council, Staff Advisor to Alumni Association Mr. Ganapathi BhatM, IQAC co-ordinastor Dr. Vasappa Gowda were present.
