The ‘earning and learning’ students ofthe evening college should attend regularly to the classes so that they cangain maximum knowledge during the college days which will benefit theirsemester examinations, said Smt. Vidya Shenoy, during the Parent TeachersAssociation annual general body meeting on 29th August 2019 atBesant Evening College. The P.T.A Coordinator of the college Prof. B.Ganapathi Bhat said the parents should convince their children to use themobile and internet services judiciously. One cannot achieve success dependingonly on degree certificates; instead, students should learn the job skillsduring their academic year at college. Principal Dr. Lakshminarayana Bhat Apresented a report on Receipts and Payments of the financial year and placedthe budget in the meeting. He assured the parents that the staff of the collegestriving hard to impart quality education to the students. Following students,Mr. Shashikiran, SrinivasKamath, Sudheendra Hegde, Kum. Veena Ganapathi Kharvi, Shramika, Mahalaxmi,Manasa and Gunashree, were awarded with scholarships.
