Parent-Teacher Association Meeting

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting of Besant Evening College was held on 5th April 2025 in the M.Com auditorium. The meeting was formally inaugurated and commenced with a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Sri Ganesh Bhakta PTA President was the Chief Guest, he in his speech encouraged students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the college.

Dr. Parashuram G. Malage, Principal of the college, addressed the gathering with insightful remarks on the progress of the college, ongoing initiatives, and future goals. He commended the institution for its consistent performance and urged parents to be more actively involved in their children’s academic journey.

Ms. Laltitha Mallya, in her presidential address, emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between parents and teachers in nurturing student success. She urged parents to regularly attend PTA meetings and actively participate in their children’s academic and personal growth.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the distribution of PTA scholarships to academically meritorious students, recognizing their dedication and performance. This was followed by the presentation of the annual PTA budget by Ms. Amitha Kumari B, Convener of the PTA, who gave a clear overview of financial planning and utilization.

The session began with a welcome address by Mr. Hareesha Pai, Assistant Professor in Commerce. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Mohammad. Mustaf, Coordinator of the Professional Batch. The event was emceed by Ms. Srividya B, Assistant Professor in Commerce.

The meeting witnessed the presence of Mr. Gopalraddy Ritti, Head of Commerce, and Dr. Prasanna Kumar M.G., IQAC Coordinator, faculties, parents and students.
