Outreach Program - Visit to Chetana Balavikas Kendra

On 22-10-2024, Extension and Outreach Cell of Besant Evening College has organized a Deepa Donation Drive aimed at supporting students of Chethana Balavikasa Kendra. This initiative not only provided beautifully decorated Deepa but also created a platform for the physically challenged students to sell them, fostering independence and entrepreneurship. Deepas prepared by our students were handed over to Nagraj Bhat secretary of Chetana Balavikasa Kendra. This hands-on activity encouraged collaboration and creativity among participants. BEC Correspondent Mrs. Lalita Mallya , Principal Dr.Parashuram Malage, IQAC coordinator Dr. Prasanna Kumar M. G, Convenor of Extension and Outreach cell Mrs. Srividya , Outreach cell member Mrs. Sushma, Extension cell student secretary Mr. Pratheek, student secretary pruthvi Mr, joint secretary Freeda elza Abraham, Eco club student secretary Mr.Harshith were present. The Deepa Donation Drive successfully combined creativity with a meaningful purpose. The initiative underscored the importance of community involvement and empathy.
