NATIONAL SEMINAR ON KONKANI SPEAKING PEOPLE OF COASTAL KARNATAKA AND ANGLO-PORTUGUESE CONNECTION ON 23RD AND 24TH AUGUST 2016

U.G.Csponsored Two day National Seminar is jointly organised by BEC and BWC on 23rdand 24th August 2016 at Besant College Auditorium on “KonkaniSpeaking people of Coastal Karnataka and their Anglo-Portuguese. The seminarwas inaugurated by Sri. J.R Lobo MLA Mangalore South and the guest of Honour wasSri. Basti Vaman Shenoy. President ofWNES Sri. Kudpi Jagadish Shenoy presided over. Sri. Roy Castelin ChairmanKarnataka Konkani Sahitya Academi was present on the occasion. 75 delegates,200 students and 18 resource persons participated in the seminar. Valedictory of the Seminar was on 24thAugust 2016 at 5.30 pm. Prof. Valerian Rodrigues was Chief- Guest of HonourSri. Pradeep Pai and President of the Programme. Sri. Shyam Sundar Kamath,Secretary WNES.
