Guest Lecture on Academic Research Paper- Do’s and Dont’s

Department of PG Studies in Commerce organised a Guest Lecture on the topic “ AcademicResearch paper- Do’s and Don’ts. Dr YathishKumar, Associateprofessor & Co-ordinator, PG Dept of Commerce, University College,Mangalore was the resource person. The program began with awelcome by Dr Lakshminarayana Bhat, Principal, Besant Evening College. MrsThara Shetty, Faculty of PG department of commerce introduced the resourceperson to the audience and then handed over the session to the Resource person. Dr Yathish Kumar startedhis talk by giving brief information about what is research, and then explainedabout the various terminologies needed in research. He also explained aboutmanagement of time during the preparation a research paper. The talk was aninteractive one where the students readily contributed in the discussion.
