Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration

Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated on 2nd October 2024, marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, a leader who championed non-violence and social reform, and Sri. Lal bahadur Shastri a man with simplicity and former Prime minister. In honor of this occasion, Besant Evening College organized a campus cleaning drive to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness, aligning with Gandhi’s vision of a clean and healthy society.

The event commenced with a brief ceremony featuring speeches that highlighted Gandhi’s ideals and their relevance today. Faculty and student leaders emphasized the importance of cleanliness and environmental stewardship. Participants included students, faculty, and staff members.
