Career Guidance Programme in Association with BWC

The Women’sNational Education Society has two first grade colleges. The Besant EveningCollege Catering to the needs of the young men and women who are deprived of educationduring day time due to family and personal commitments and Besant Women’scollege catering to the needs of young women. The Department of Economics ofBEC and BWC in association with Mangalore University Economics Associationorganized one day intercollegiate career guidance programme “Daari Deevige” forBA students on 14.09.16. It was inaugurated by Sri Sathish Kumar Bhat alumni ofBesant Evening College and Correspondent of Besant English School. Mr.Devananda Pai Correspondent of BWC, Dr. Sathish Kumar Shetty Principal of BWC,Dr. Lakshminarayana Bhat principal of BEC, Mr. Chandra President of MUEA, MrsUsha Kumari HOD of Economics of BWC, Mr. Vishwanatha Achar HOD of EconomicsBEC,. Dr. Manjula KT former principal of BWC, Mrs Indira Devi former HOD ofEconomics department of BWC and staff of BWC were Present. Dr. Norbert Lobo arenowned career counselor was the resource person. It was attended by more than100 students from various colleges.
