Besant Premiere League 2015-16

The First B.P.L (Besant Premiere League)Cricket Tournament with the slogan of “Divided by Teams United by Besant” wasorganised on 21.02.2016, at Shri. Ramashrama P.U. College Grounds Konchady. Mr.Devanand Pai, Secretary W.N.E.S, inaugurated the tournament. Correspondent ofthe college Sri. Nagar Narayan Shenoy, Principal Dr. Carmelita Goveas and allthe Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff, Students and Alumnae were present.

Six Teams participatedin the tournament. The aim of the B.P.L Cricket Tournament is to bring togetherthe present and past students. Players were selected through a Bidding process.It is a unique feature of the B.P.L tournament that two female players weregiven a chance to represent a team. The teams were owned by the Principal,Staff and Alumnae. Valedictory function was held in the evening and Dr.Lakshminarayana Bhat A distributed the prizes.
