ANVESHAN an Inter-collegiate PG Students Research Conclave 2018-19

The theme for ANVESHAN –Inter-collegiate PG Students Research Conclave is “Emerging Trends in Commerceand Management”. There are about 20 sub-themes selected for the deliberationswhich are indicative but not limited in nature. These sub-themes are broadlyrelated to Digital India initiatives, E-commerce, Banking, Finance, Insurance,operations management R & D factors in Marketing, GST, work life balance,stress management, knowledge management, business ethics and corporate socialresponsibility etc. The organizers we have received 50 papers from thestudents. The total registered delegates are 122 students from 36 colleges/universities departments. The Principal of the College, Dr Lakshminarayan Bhatintroduced the guests and welcomed the guests and august gathering. Dr. VasappaGowda, the director of the seminar explored the conceptual overview of theseminar and justified the need for organizing the PG students’ seminar in thepresent day demand for research requirements. The chief guest of the programme,Prof. P.S Yadapadithaya spoke on the occasion and said that ANVESHAN is insearch of excellence which is especially designed and dedicated to PG studentsand explained the five key elements such as Participation, Presentation, ExpertGuidance, Motivation and Publication. He also explained the five capsules suchas Attitude, Skill mix, Habits, Values and Knowledge. He spoke about three E’s;Education, Employability, Employment and three D’s; Debate, Dialogue andDiscussion and 7 C’s. Courage, Confidence, Conviction, Commitment,Communication, Convince and Conscious. Sri Kudpi Jagadeesh Shenoy, thepresident of Women’s National Education Society, Mangalore presided over thefunction and appreciated the organizers of the seminar for selecting the themewhich is very apt in the context of quality research output. During theoccasion, our student, Ms Deeksha Rao, the 7th rank holder in M.Comfor the Academic Year 2016-17 was felicitated.
