ANVESHAN 2022

Everyyear the College has been organising seminars for the Post Graduate studentsunder the caption- ANVESHAN. It is an opportunity to the PG students to begintheir journey leading to be good researchers of the future. For this we had invited the expertsto evaluate the papers presented and also to give suggestions to improve their researchin the future. Prizes were awarded for the best papers. We have got great appreciation fromthe participants. Based on the demand by many collegesand student community, this year we have organized ANVESHAN 2022 for PGstudents. For this seminar ANVESHAN 2022 the organizing team has selected thetheme “ Emerging Trends in Informationand Communication Technology” The main objectives are;

to create a platform for developing academic writing skills, exchange of ideas and to discuss current issues,
to develop research abilities,
to provide budding researchers the transferrable skills and knowledge in research engagement

There were 13 papers from the PG students fromother colleges and 5 papers from the students within the college. The seminarbegan with a formal function at 10 AM. The Principal of the College, Dr.Lakshminarayan Bhat extended formal words of welcome to the guests and thegathering. The IQAC coordinator, Dr. Prasanna Kumar M.G., provided conceptual overview of the seminar and justified the need for organizing theseminar in the present day context. During the occasion, the Proceeding of theseminar ANVESHAN 2021: “ InternationalOnline Seminar on Post COVID 19 Pandemic” was released. Dr. Preethi KeerthiD’Souza, Department of Commerce, Mangalore University, was the keynote speaker.The inauguration of the State Level seminar was presided over by the Vice-presidentof Women’s National Education Society, Dr Majula K.T. The correspondent of thecollege, Sri. Ganesh Krishna Bhat, seminar conveners; Mrs Thara S. Shetty andMrs Sathvika H. Shetty, were on the dais. The inaugural function was concludedwith the expression of gratitude by the director of PG Studies in Commerce, DrSridhar Maniyani.
