A Talk on Scholarships

The Department of Library andInformation Center has arranged a talk on various scholarships available to thehigher education by the Government and Non-Governmental Organisations on 03rdSept, 2019. Sri. K. Narayan Nayak, retired school inspector was the resourceperson. The Librarian of the college, Dr Vasappa Gowda introduced and welcomedthe resource person to the gathering. In his speech Sri Narayan Nayak explainedabout various scholarships available to various categories of students who arepursuing their education from primary level to post graduation general educationas well as professional education like diploma, medical and engineeringeducation. He spoke about an hour and brought awareness about variousscholarships from Central Government, State Government and non-governmentalinstitutions/ organizations. At the end studentshave asked various questions and clarified their doubts. The resource persondistributed the specimen copies of various scholarships. The programme endedwith vote of thanks by the principal, Dr Lakshminarayan Bhat.A
