Valmiki Jayanthi Celebration

Valmiki Jayanthi was celebrated at Besant Evening College on [insert date if needed], organized by the Department of Kannada under the guidance of Ms. Nishmitha K. Smt. Pushpalatha, former Principal of Besant Women’s College, was the Chief Guest of the programme. The event was presided over by Dr. Parashuram Malage, Principal of the College.

The Chief Guest, in her address, highlighted the teachings and contributions of Maharshi Valmiki to Indian literature and culture. The Principal also spoke on the importance of following the values of truth and righteousness as portrayed in the Ramayana.

Dr. Prasanna Kumar M.G, IQAC Coordinator, and Mr. Gopalraddy Ritti, Head of the Department of Commerce, were present on the occasion. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.

Outcome

The celebration helped students understand the life and teachings of Maharshi Valmiki and his contributions to Indian literature, especially the Ramayana.
