SESSION ON SOFT SKILLS

The Career Guidance Cell of Besant Evening College organized an enlightening session on "Soft Skills: A Key to Successful Interviews" on 25 April 2025. The session was conducted by Dr. Anjali Ganesh, Professor at St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangalore.

Dr. Anjali Ganesh emphasized the crucial role of communication, confidence, and interpersonal skills in successfully clearing interviews and establishing a flourishing career. She explained how technical knowledge alone is not sufficient, and that the ability to present oneself effectively is equally important. Through engaging examples and practical tips, Dr. Anjali Ganesh highlighted strategies for improving self-presentation, active listening, and professional interaction.

The session was conducted by Convenor Mr. Gopalaraddy Ritti, faculty members, and 26 students.The session was highly interactive, with students participating enthusiastically and gaining valuable insights into enhancing their soft skills. It concluded with a Q&A session, where students clarified their doubts and sought guidance on personal development.

Overall, the session was a great success and provided students with essential tools to prepare themselves for future career opportunities.
