Inaugural Program of GST and Tally Certificate Course

The inaugural program of the GST and Tally Certificate Course was successfully held at Besant Evening College in collaboration with Enertech Academy on 31 January 2025 at the Computer Lab. The course aimed to introduce students to the importance of GST and Tally in modern business practices and equip them with practical skills for better career opportunities.

The correspondent of Besant Evening College Mrs. Lalitha Mallya addressed the gathering, emphasizing the need for skill-based education and the significance of GST and Tally in today’s financial and accounting sector.

Following this, the Principal of Besant Evening College Dr. Parashuram G Malage delivered his presidential address, highlighting the institution’s commitment to providing industry-relevant training to students. He encouraged participants to make use of this course and assured them of the faculty’s full support in their learning journey.

Mrs.Harshitha a representative from Enertech Academy shared insights on the course structure, objectives, and expected outcomes. The course is designed to cover key concepts of Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tally ERP 9, and practical applications in accounting and taxation.

The GST and Tally Certificate Course is set to run for a specified duration, with practical training and assessments to ensure students gain hands-on experience in financial management. This initiative reflects Besant Evening College’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, helping students enhance their employability and career prospects.

Ms. Basamma from III B.COM welcomed everyone, Mr. Sheshank from III B.COM gave the vote of gratitude, and Ms. Freeda Elza Abram III Bcom emceed the program.
