Guest Talk on Job opportunities in LIC of India

The Placement Cell of Besant Evening College organized a significant event on 10 March 2025, aimed at guiding students toward promising career opportunities. The session was graced by Mr. Anantha Shastri, Mr.Rithesh Baliga, Bharathi Kamath, officers from the Life Insurance of Corporation India (LIC) Satellite Branch Mangalore, who visited the college to interact with the students and provide valuable insights into placement offers and career prospects within LIC.

The officers gave a comprehensive presentation on the various career options available at LIC, including roles suited for fresh graduates. They explained the selection process, required qualifications, and skills essential to excel in the insurance and financial sectors.

34 students actively participated by asking questions and clarifying their doubts. The interactive nature of the session made it both informative and engaging. The officers encouraged students to prepare diligently and take advantage of the upcoming placement drives conducted by LIC and other insurance companies.
