79th Independence Day Celebration

The 79th Independence Day of our nation was celebrated with great patriotic fervor at the WNES premise, Mangalore, jointly by all the Besant institutions on 15 August, 2025.

The program began with the hoisting of the National Flag by Sri Manel Annappa Nayak, President of the Women’s National Education Society (WNES), followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The event was marked by patriotic songs, speeches, and cultural performances by students, highlighting the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the importance of safeguarding our hard-earned freedom. In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the role of youth in nation-building, while the Principal reminded the gathering of the values of unity, responsibility, and service to the nation.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and distribution of sweets, leaving everyone inspired with a renewed sense of patriotism.
