A free medical camp in dermatitis was organised in
the adopted village by the NSS unit, the extension cell, Alumni Association, in association with Pavoor Village Panchayath and
Primary Health Center Boliyar in Collaboration with Yenepoya Medical Hospital
Deralakatte on 20th February 2020.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Nagarathna K A, NSS coordinator of
Mangalore University. In her address she said that the skin is important in
protecting our body from pollution and therefore protection of skin is the most
important requirement. The principal of the college Dr. Lakshminarayana Bhat A, NSS programme officer of the college, Mr. Ganesh Pai N, Extension Cell in-Charge, Mr. Gopala Reddi, Alumni advisor, Mr
Ganapathi Bhat M, local social worker, Mr Shankarananda N Inavalli, NSS Student Secretary Mr Manjulesh Kini, and students were present. A
total of 32 patients benefited from the camp.
