Cell organised a Guest Lecture on the topic “Life Skills ” by Ms. Parveen U T, Yuva
Parivarthaki, Yuva Spandana, Mangalore and Life Skill Trainer, NIMHANS on 24th
March 2022.
Ms. Bhavana, Final M.Com,
student coordinator of women cell, welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Thara Shetty, Convener,
Women and Anti-Harassment Cell, introduced the resource person. The resource person Ms
Parveen U T shared her knowledge about various facilities provided by Yuva
Spandana to the youth. She also enlightened the students about how to manage
stress and use the various hidden skills in them for their better living. She
conducted various activities to make the students understand about various
skills that can be useful for their future. Dr Laxminarayan Bhat,
the Principal, Mrs Sathvika H Shetty & Mrs Thara S Shetty, Assistant
Professors P.G. department of Commerce, Mrs Srividya, Assistant Professor, U.G.
department of Commerce and B.com and M.Com students of the college were present
in this session.Mrs. Sathvika Shetty, Faculty of P.G. department of commerce concluded
the program with vote of thanks.
